A big "Thank you" from the CAFOD Group to the many parishioners who signed cards last year in support of CAFOD's "Power to Be" campaign to persuade the World Bank to support renewable rather than fossil-fuel energy projects in developing countries. In a major policy shift, the Bank has now announced that it will stop its support for oil and gas exploration and production after 2019. You really made a difference!

PARISH DANCE - The recent dance only attracted 9 people. The decline in numbers over the recent dances to this level brings into question whether to continue the dances with the logistics and costs involved, now there is no Parish Bar to support the expense. With this in mind the attendance at the next dance on the 7th July will be the deciding factor. So please support if you wish the dances to continue. Note - No Bar service, but bring your own drinks; glasses will be provided.
