HOW CAN I CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME?

: ‘LIVE SIMPLY’ Could you live more simply?
We can ask ourselves this question over and over. E.g. Do you buy things because you need them or because you want them?

Many people do not have life to the full because they are traded as objects and not recognised as persons.

Please be generous in the special collection for ‘Day for Life’ next weekend. This enables the Church to run projects that protect life at every stage and in every condition. If you donate by cheque, please make it out to ‘Our Lady & St Edward’ and we will send money on. www.dayforlife.org

JULY

Saturday 7 July PARISH DANCE - The recent dance only attracted 9 eople. Note - No Bar service, but bring your own drinks; glasses will be provided.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING – it’s said to be happening under our noses. We’re asked to report suspicions. It can be that someone is forced into a sort of enslavement in a car wash, or forms of labouring, or catering, or domestic work where a person can be almost a prisoner. Keep the “Day for Life” card handy at home, to remind yourself.
